SUBSTANCE: complex muffler-cleaner of exhaust gases includes housing equipped with diffuser and confuser with inlet and outlet branch pipes, detachable cover plate, filtering insert consisting of flat, zigzag-shaped and cone-shaped perforated casings connected to each other so that a cavity is formed between themselves and inner surface of housing, diffuser, confuser and detachable cover plate; at that, vertical zigzag-shaped containers with perforated walls are installed between flat perforated casings of the cover plate and bottom of the housing so that they are in contact with them and parallel to movement of exhaust gases and form zigzag-shaped gas channels between each other, and the above cavity and zigzag-shaped containers are filled with granules of slag pumice stone made from metallurgical slags with basicity factor of M>1 and diameter of granules of 5 to 10 mm.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of complex muffler-cleaner of exhaust gases.
