FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: sealing device of high-pressure chamber of ballistic plant includes membrane assembly of diaphragm with gasket, which is tightened with hold-down ring to inner surface of front flange of high-pressure chamber; sealing assembly with a ring-shaped sealing element, which is arranged in opposite flange of the chamber, in which slots are made, and against inner surface of which an assembly of support disc, stop ring and hold-down ring and sealing ring is borne; screw guide axis with a nut, which is attached to support disc with possibility of being detached; two groups of pushing bolts. Filling of a gap between inner surface of housing of high-pressure chamber and support disc using the sealing ring is performed with compression forces by means of high-pressure chamber sealing device. Sealing ability can be increased owing to applying a layer of sealing compound to the sealing ring surface.

EFFECT: enlarging the capabilities of semi-field tests and improving the efficiency of development and performance of experiments owing to excluding the need for erection and removal of heavy-weight high-pressure chamber.
