FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method of throwing bodies, in which in the inner volume of the barrel on the side of its bottom part, a control destructible shell is placed, it is connected to the working gas supply line, the thrown element is connected and attached to the muzzle part of the barrel, control shell is filled with working gas to preset propellant volume from working gas source. Working gas source is connected via main line and shutoff-control equipment to control shell. Thrown element is connected to the barrel with the possibility of disconnection, after which the detonation process in the working gas supply line is initiated by the spark arrester. Shell is destroyed, accelerating pulse is supplied to thrown element and measurements are made during its ballistic motion.
EFFECT: providing physical modelling and research of processes accompanying throwing of elements of small elongation, increasing efficiency of carrying out a series of experiments.
