FIELD: nuclear engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear engineering. Container for transportation and / or storage of spent fuel assemblies includes metal housing, covers and cover containing spacer grids having holes with tube channels for spent fuel assemblies arranged in them, and holes for metal ties. Central part of spacing arrays contacting with pipe channels is made of material with high heat conductivity, and outer part forming ring is made of composite material also with high heat conductivity, but ensuring absorption of neutrons.
EFFECT: invention increases fabricability of the container.
