FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device refers to medical appliances applied in surgical orthopaedics and traumatology. The device comprises a handle with a rod and a removable stylette. The rod is positioned in a cross hole of a cylindrical body to vary a handle shape between longitudinal to X-shaped and L-shaped. The removable stylette is presented by K-wire fragments of the diameter of 0.5 to 2.0 mm one end of which is pointed and graduated, while the other one is formed by a double base of a wire fragment. The base of the wire fragment is adjusted and fixed by a fastening mechanism of the handle of the device.
EFFECT: higher effectiveness of the orthopaedic-traumatological surgeries accompanied by osteoperforation.
