FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises short-term heating of PVC granules in air, applying short-term vacuum to heated granules, cooling the later in vacuum to below temperature of polystyrene plastic state, and, after cooling, vacuum breaking. Drying heating of PVC granules is performed in tight container filled with hot air. Note here that vacuum is created by pumping air from said tight container. Granules are cooled, mainly, due to heat power radiation.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, and foaming ratio.
