SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a compound of formula 
where x is a natural number from 0 to 4 inclusively, and R is independently selected from a group consisting of a saturated C1-C4alkyl, by reacting a halogenated carbene with a base. The method is characterised by that it is realised in the presence of cucurbituril, optionally in a solvent medium.
EFFECT: use of the present method increases output of the desired products.
