FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for producing preparation for processing fruit and vegetable products with an increased content of 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) by absorbing a liquid 1-MCP with an aqueous buffer suspension of alpha-cyclodextrin (ACD) with subsequent filtration of the resulting product and its drying. Method is characterized in that the liquid 1-MCP is mixed with the ACD suspension in a buffer solution at a pH of 6.8 or less at a pressure of 1.1–10 atm and at a temperature of 0 °C to 20 °C and the aqueous buffer suspension of the alpha-cyclodextrin further comprises a chelating agent (CA) selected from the group: nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid (NTFP), or ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, or the disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, or the tetrasodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, or any mixture thereof at a 1-MCP:ACD:CA molar ratio of 1:0.7–0.9:0.01–01.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain the desired product with a main substance content of up to 4 2/5 wt%.
