FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: in case of failure of the engine main lubrication system, at least some part of liquid fuel of engine is extracted for lubrication at least of one part of the engine. Emergency lubrication device includes means for detection of failure of the main lubrication system, means for extraction at least of some part of liquid fuel of the engine, which is to be supplied at least to the lubricated part of the engine, and control means which can be connected to those means of extraction and detection to implement the emergency lubrication method.
EFFECT: invention allows considerable increase in safety level.
