FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device has a weighted front (1) and tail (2) part. The tail (2) part has means (3) of stabilising the position of the probe during movement and a coil (4) with a cable (5). The cable (5) comes out through a hole (6) in the tail part. There are pressure (7) and temperature (8) sensors in the front part (1). The pressure (7) sensor lies such that when the probe is immersed, the pressure sensitive element (11) of the sensor is in contact with immovable sea water filling the tail part (2). The temperature (8) sensor is placed such that its sensitive element (12) protrudes over the surface of the probe. Besides said sensors, the front part (1) is air-tightly fitted with a power supply (9) and electronic apparatus (10) connected with it for converting and synchronising signals from the sensors. Outputs of the electronic apparatus (10) for converting and synchronising signals from the sensors are connected to the cable (5), which enables to transmit measuring signals from the pressure (7) and temperature (8) sensors to an information collection and processing system lying on a carrier.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring hydrological parameters and reliability of the probe.
