FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a transformer that converts current in a protected conductor into voltage supplied to a capacitor with a parallel connected first resistor, a key controlled by a unit, which defines conditions of short circuit occurrence, a discharger, a diode bridge, the second resistor and an electric detonator. The transformer via the diode bridge and the key is connected to the second resistor, voltage from which arrives to the unit controlled with the key, and the voltage from the first resistor via the discharger arrives to the electric detonator.
EFFECT: increased reliability and safety of operation.
