FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: harvesting machine comprises a receiving device, a device for treatment of harvested mass, a load-transfer device and a control unit. The receiving device comprises a device for detection of foreign bodies. Upon detection of foreign bodies the control unit performs automatic braking of the harvesting machine and/or removal of at least one energy environment to reduce the speed of the machine. The parameter for the braking action and/or removal of the energy environment is regulated.
EFFECT: due to braking of the harvesting machine upon detection of foreign bodies in the flow of harvested mass the accumulation of harvested mass is prevented in front of it as well as collision with the harvested mass and squeezing it.
