In unit 28 of data storage and processing, at least one predetermined criterion is input with the possibility of calling, and based on the determined during harvesting parameter of the harvested mass and/or the operational parameter and at least one predetermined criterion the prediction on reachability of actual purpose of harvesting is derived. The prediction is taken into account when setting the operating parameters.

EFFECT: use of this invention enables to provide a reliable prediction of the ultimate purpose of the harvesting process, which can be achieved under the selected operating parameters.
