SUBSTANCE: invention represents an aqueous conditioning shampoo composition containing an anion cleansing surfactant and separately prepared gel mesh containing: (i) a fatty material specified in C12-C22 fatty alcohols, C12-C22 fatty acids, C12-C22 fatty amides or a mixture thereof; and (ii) clays of a layer structure and a fusion point exceeding that of the fatty material.
EFFECT: invention provides stabilising the gel mesh in the conditioning shampoo composition.
