FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to hot rolling of hardened formed parts. Metal sheet blank is heated to temperature somewhere about that of austenite formation. Then, said blank is subjected to hot forming in die cavity to make formed part. Then, contact with cooling means in forming cavity allows hardening aforesaid part. For this cooling means is directed into forming cavity via feed channels. In compliance with one version, formed part is cooled, at least, partially, by cooling means the pressure of which exceeds that of cooling means steam. In compliance with another version, cooling means aggregative state is controlled.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of heat exchange.
