FIELD: composite materials. SUBSTANCE: invention provides product from composite containing high-abrasive particles manufactured by intensive heating resulting from process of self-propagation high- temperature synthesis. Composite contains base of profiled metal block and functional layer of ceramic material containing high-abrasive particles and joined to base surface by means of intermediate compound formed from molten metal during self-propagation high-temperature synthesis.
