FIELD: metal forming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used in production of structural components by hot forging. Tool comprises current source and die including upper and lower mating dies. Each of the mating punches contains at least two die blocks. Blocks of die have working surface and include at least one warm unit with side connectors on opposite sides, at least one support block and at least one cold block. Side connectors are electrically connected to a current source configured to pass direct current through one of the side connectors, through the working surface of the units and through the other from side connectors. Internal ends of the support blocks are separated from each other by a recess. Cold unit has channels for cooling liquid.
EFFECT: as a result, it is possible to manufacture hot-stamped components with zones of high strength and high plasticity.
