FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas turbine technology used in electric power production or for driving transport facilities or compressor plants at gas main lines. Proposed method comprises feeding compressed air and methane-bearing gas-vapour mix into combustion chamber, expanding products of their combustion in gas turbine, cooling combustion products by evaporation or superheating of high-pressure steam, condensation of low-pressure steam contained in combustion products, evaporation and superheating of condensate to produce high-pressure steam to be fed into gas turbine unit. Natural gas is sequentially mixed with high-pressure steam, heated in first heat exchanger by methane-bearing gas-vapour mix combustion products and forced through catalytic reactor to produce methane-bearing gas-vapour mix to be heated in second heat exchanger, forced through second catalytic reactor and fed into combustion chamber.
EFFECT: power savings, reduced emissions, simplified design.
