SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the plant raw material drying equipment and can be used in food industry. Independent drying unit for high-moisture plant raw material includes the following: furnace, drying chamber, air ducts; at that, furnace is provided with side shields located above the furnace along its side walls, and equipped with chamber with flue tubes; at that, cold air inlet pipeline is attached to the chamber from below, and hot air outlet pipelines is attached from above; at that, hot air outlet pipeline includes confusor located inside the drying chamber that is arranged above the furnace between side shields and made in the form of a hollow cylinder with internal longitudinal ridges and transverse rings, and hollow cylinder is connected by means of spikes to the shaft fixed on both sides in pivoted bearing assemblies, located inside hollow cylinder, installed obliquely with possibility of changing the obliquity angle and equipped with a drive; at that, upper part of hollow cylinder is equipped with a cover plate with central hole in which an inlet channel is located, and outlet channel is located in lower part of hollow cylinder; at that, shaft drive can be made in the form of a bell crank with a handle.

EFFECT: invention shall provide the design simplification due to creating the independent drying device for high-moisture plant raw material with a manual drive, which is implemented in non-tight drying cylinder by means of active ventilation with proper power unit.
