FIELD: heating; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: dried carbon-bearing raw material is compressed with following pre-pyrolysis preparation at temperature 300-400°C and removal of released liquid fraction. Thereafter raw material is pyrolysed at 650-700°C. Produced carbon is activated and cooled. Two offered versions of related device for method implementation contains at least two delivery modules, each of which contains in plane drying cabinet with screw pin and heat conductor, and connected pre-pyrolysis and compression chamber with heat conductor. There is also pyrolysis chamber with heat conductor and connected cooling air duct and in-built gas heat-generator, and processing unit from two connected chambers one of which contains dry steam tube activator, and another is covered with water cooling tank.
EFFECT: higher yield and quality of activated carbon.
