FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a display for displaying stationary and/or moving images and/or pictures. The display for displaying stationary and/or moving images and/or pictures has a plurality of separate display elements lying in lattice nodes or in form of a lattice, and a control device through which luminescence of the elements is controlled - separately or in groups, wherein the display elements have opaque light-permeable hollow bodies, in each of which there is at least one light source, provided with at least one light-emitting element, wherein said hollow bodies, having light sources, are emitting bodies configured to emit light uniformly and diffusely in all directions, wherein the light sources are configured to emit, depending on the control, one of a plurality of colours and with selected brightness, and the control device is configured to form images and/or pictures through unique light sources, wherein said display elements lie in nodes of a three-dimensional lattice.
EFFECT: displaying images for a long distance and reproducing a two-dimensional image through three-dimensional construction of display elements in a resolution higher than that defined by the arrangement of the display elements in one plane of the display.
