METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF CLINICAL EFFECTIVENESS IN PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC STROKE Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B5/01

Abstract RU 2467680 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely - to neurology. A method consists in measuring a temperature difference between the biologically active points C 7 of a heart canal and an intact area of patient's skin. The measurements are taken every second over at least two minutes before the treatment and on the seventh day of the treatment. If on the seventh day of the treatment frequency and length of positive changes of the temperature difference in the point C 7 exceed the same pre-therapeutic values by 20% and more, a high probability of evident positive progression of the neurological status, the psycho-emotional state and a quality of life level by the end of the after-care course is stated. If on the seventh day of the treatment frequency and length of positive changes of the temperature difference in the point C 7 exceed the same pre-therapeutic values by less than 20%, the prescribed therapeutic regimen is considered to be low-effective and suggested to be changed.

EFFECT: method is easy to use, atraumatic, non-invasive.
