SUBSTANCE: on the 3rd day of the onset of disease, the clinical study is added with evaluating the thrombocyte monoamine oxidase (MAO) activity, nmole per mg of protein, and if observing the increase in the MAO activity more than in 2 times as compared to a norm, a positive effect of the neurologic recovery in the patients in acute ischemic stroke.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and reduced length of the prediction procedure thereby enabled adequate well-timed therapeutic actions to be prescribed.
