SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental hydrodynamics of sea transport. Proposed support is equipped with deck extending over the entire width of said support and heated cabin with process equipment control board located behind the deck. Lifting frame displacing vertically is arranged on support end that faces the used ice disposal point. Bulldozer vertical plate features length making, at least, 0.99 of pool bowl width and width exceeding the depth of model ice-hummock and can displace vertically. Resilient insert is secured to plate bottom section. Water spray equipment is located abode the deck. Lifting frame is equipped with two work platforms arranged over the ice pool width and spaced apart to extend through at least 0.9 of ice pool bowl width. Support front end is furnished with ice-hummock forming device composed of a plate with length making, at least 0.9 of pool bowl width and width making, at least, the size of crushed ice in pool. Said plate can turn in horizontal plane about its lengthwise axis and be locked at preset position. Besides, it can be immersed under water surface to depth equal, at least, to model ice-hummock depth.
