SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of structural materials and articles, particularly autoclave hardening wall silicate articles. The silicate mix contains quartz sand, lime-silica binder consisting of ground unslaked lime and ground quartz sand, where the lime-silica binder additionally contains sand with specific surface area of not less than 20000 cm²/g, with the following ratio of components of the binder, wt %: said lime 30.0-34.0, ground sand 62.0-69.9, sand with specific surface area of not less than 20000 cm²/g 0.1-4.0, with the following ratio of components, wt %: quartz sand 66.0-85.0, said lime-silica binder 15.0-34.0. In another version, the silicate mix contains quartz sand, lime-silica binder consisting of ground unslaked lime and ground quartz sand, where the lime-silica binder additionally contains sand with specific surface area of not less than 20000 cm²/g, with the following ratio of components of the binder, wt %: said lime 30.0-34.0, ground sand 62.0-69.9, sand with specific surface area of not less than 20000 cm²/g 0.1-4.0, and the mixture additionally contains a pigment, with the following ratio of components, wt %: quartz sand 65.9-85.0, said lime-silica binder 14.0-34.0, pigment 0.1-1.0.
