FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to silicon rubber mixtures used in making articles which are in contact with food products. The rubber mixture contains high molecular methyl vinyl siloxane rubber, a mixture of finely dispersed pyrogenic and finely dispersed deposited silicon dioxide, zinc oxide, α,ω-dihydroxydimethylsiloxane and 2,4-dichlorobenzoyl or ditert-butyl peroxyisopropyl benzene as a vulcanising agent. The rubber mixture can contain an additive from one or more pigments.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a vulcanisate of a rubber mixture based on high molecular methyl vinyl siloxane rubber which meets the necessary sanitary and hygiene requirements of the food industry and low cost of production.
