FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mechanism in the form of a device for blocking of doors, door bodies or door frames in horizontal chambers of a coke oven, actuating with the help of an auxiliary frame installed on the door of the coke oven chamber. Motion in the auxiliary frame along the door of the coke oven chamber in the vertical direction is limited. When moving upwards, the auxiliary frame rests against rigidly mounted support ledges on top of the coke oven chamber, and such ledges transfer a vertical traction force to the oven door, and also actuates levers rotating around the axis, the orthogonal coke chamber oven, which are connected with a crossbar that freely moves reciprocally. When the lever is actuated, it moves out the crossbar from a clamping stop for a crossbar mounted on the door of the coke oven chamber, so that the coke oven chamber door is unlocked and opens.
EFFECT: mechanism of doors blocking combines with a process of opening or closing, is insensitive to contamination, does not make a door heavier, and a locking process is easily automated.
