FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the device and method of vertical opening and closing of stationary doors of horizontal chambers of coke ovens. Device includes a rope or chain (4) or a traction device, by means of which doors (2) of the coke oven are opened and closed, and pulleys (5) located above individual doors (2) are guided. The end of rope (4) is provided with a fastening element or actuating mechanism (6) with traction eye (6a). Above door (2), on the rail there is at least one installed gripping trolley (8) with possibility of being moved by means of traction rope (10) directed to both sides in horizontal direction, as well as the fastening element or actuating mechanism (6) with traction eye (6a) on the end of traction rope (10) above the individual doors. Traction rope (10) is brought into engagement with gripping cam (8a) located in gripping trolley (8) and directed downwards so that traction rope (10) is pulled or unloaded and can provide lifting and lowering of door (2) of the coke oven by means of horizontal movement of gripping trolley (8).
EFFECT: invention allows simplifying its maintenance and improving its reliability, reducing the costs for installation and providing the possibility of individual control of individual coke ovens, as well as its being used for doors of various kinds.
