SUBSTANCE: device includes perforated frame and filtering elements consisting of alternating discs of various thickness and provided with central hole, which are concentrically arranged on the frame so that slots are formed between them. Alternating discs are made from metal mesh and fibrous filtering material. Outer diameter of discs from metal mesh and diameter of central hole made in them exceed the corresponding diameters of discs from fibrous filtering material.

EFFECT: improving purification quality of formation fluid; lower pressure losses; higher contaminant capacity and strainer operating life.
