FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oilfield equipment, namely to downhole filters used to protect a submersible pump from the impact of rock particles. Borehole filter comprises a perforated tube, a filtering attachment of a helically wound fibrous material of basalt fibers fastened to a stainless steel hose wire net and a protective housing with apertures. Basalt fibers alternate with layers of a stainless steel hose braided mesh.
EFFECT: borehole filter with a filtering core made of basalt fibers obtained using well-developed technology is created.
