FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: diagnostics method of internal combustion engine parts involves installation of oil filter with the main filtering element and filtering element of bypass valve to the engine, with its further removal after operation, opening of filter and analysis of filtered wear products as per their qualitative and quantitative composition and accessories to the engine parts.
EFFECT: improved evaluation accuracy of technical state of the internal combustion engine and its component parts, including aluminium, plastic, cast-iron and steel parts, and sealants.
