SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extraction of mechanical wear products from internal combustion engine. In method of extracting wear products from internal combustion engine, including removal of filter after its operation from engine, according to the invention, removal of wear particles is carried out in an oil filter capsule formed by surfaces of the main filter element, a bypass valve filter element and an oil filter casing.

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of excluding mechanical wear particles, which threaten engine performance, when dismounting the oil filter.
