FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: shaft mounted in friction couples is brought to rotation using outside source of energy. Drive shaft of source of energy is disconnected from shaft mounted in friction couples, rotation frequency ω1 of this shaft is recorded and in parallel timer (stop-watch) is set to time t during which rotation frequency of friction couple falls down to value ω2; by means of proportion value of moment MR of resistance to torsion upon preset loading moment M"ПОЛ" is determined; due to which desired friction characteristics of friction couple are determined: friction fFR factor and moment Midle of idle run. Device consists of frame on which by means of fixed supports shaft is mounted provided with tested friction couples containing sectional flywheel with changeable mass and moment of inertia. The shaft has detachable joint with electromotor drive shaft. Flywheel is provided with system of reflectors with optical communication with emitter-receiver which is connected to computer through interface unit. Gage is connected to compound lever.
EFFECT: providing possibility of determination of friction characteristics at various speed modes and determination of functional dependence of change of idle run moment on rotation frequency of kinematic chain element.
