FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: flow chromatograph has a housing (1) fitted with nozzles (2, 3, 4) for inlet of carrier gas, analysed gas and calibrating mixture, first and second nozzles (5, 6) for releasing gases, a sample preparation and inputting device, as well as temperature-controlled chromatographic column (16), detector (15) and sampling valve (17) with a batching loop (18) in one position which connects the detector (15) with the chromatographic column (16) directly and in another position - through the batching loop (18). According to the invention, the sample preparation and inputting device has a gas flow regulator (7) mounted on the inlet line of the carrier gas at the input of the detector (15), and a gas flow metre (8) mounted between the second release nozzle (6) and the output of the detector (15), a precision pressure regulator (9), a four-port tap (10) and three fluidic resistors (11, 12, 13). The first input (22) of the four-port tap (10) is connected to the nozzle (2) for inlet of the carrier gas through the first fluidic resistor (11), the second and third inputs (21, 23) are connected to nozzles (3, 4) for inlet of the analysed and calibration gases, respectively, and the output (24) of the four-port tap (10) is connected to the input of the precision pressure regulator (9), whose output is connected to the sampling valve (17), in one position which connects the output of the precision pressure regulator (9) to the batching loop (18) and through it to the second fluidic resistor (12), and in another position - directly with the second fluidic resistor (12), connected to the first release nozzle (5) which is connected through the third fluidic resistor (13) to the nozzle (3) for inlet of the analysed gas.

EFFECT: design of a device which provides highly accurate and reproducible batching, while eliminating the effect of pressure fluctuation in analysed gas and calibration mixture lines and temperature and atmospheric pressure fluctuation on accuracy of batching and analysis results, as well as the effect of sample residues from previous analyses on analysis results.
