FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: test signal is transmitted to the primary winding of a transformer with a first magnetic conductor. The value of the signal on its secondary winding is determined through a first indicator. The test signal is synchronously transmitted to the primary winding of a transformer with a second magnetic conductor. The value of the signal on its secondary winding is determined through a second indicator. Further, the readings of both indicators are compared. The apparatus has a test signal generator, a transformer with a first magnetic conductor, a transformer with a second magnetic conductor and the same number of turns in the windings as the transformer with a first magnetic conductor, two buffers and two indicators. The test signal generator is connected through both buffers to both primary windings of the transformers. The secondary windings of the transformer are connected to the indicators.

EFFECT: simple and faster diagnosis of magnetic conductors during fitting thereof, clearer and more reliable procedure, possibility of lowering qualification requirements for personnel.
