FIELD: test and measuring equipment, devices for checking of electric coils in the process of manufacture. SUBSTANCE: the device has a magnetic core with an exciting winding connected to the output of an oscillator, detector and indicator, use is made of a current transmitter that is series-connected to the exciting winding, comparator, voltage divider; the current transmitter output is connected to the input of the detector, whose output is connected to the first input of the comparator, whose second input is connected to the output of the voltage divider, the comparator output is connected to the indicator input. The exciting winding is positioned on one end of the magnetic core. The oscillator provides at the output for periodic square-wave oscillations.
