FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle is provided with radio frequency labels which duplicate both the marking of the vehicle itself and the vehicle registration plate, and the documents of the driver and the vehicle are in form of plastic cards with a radio frequency label. When vehicles pass antennae, radio frequency signals from the radio frequency labels and plastic cards are automatically read and the obtained data are compared and analysed, and illegally used vehicles are automatically identified based on established features from the detected mismatches.
EFFECT: more complete control of vehicles in traffic and automatic detection of illegally used vehicles.
