FIELD: smart transport systems.
SUBSTANCE: device for recording the traffic conditions, made with the ability to move in the highway area or near it, contains: a fixation unit containing a camera and made with the possibility to fix the image of the fixed object located in the field of view of the fixation unit, a recognition unit made with the possibility to recognize at least one characteristic feature of the fixed object based on the fixed image, a navigation unit, made with the possibility to determine the geographical coordinates and direction of this device and synchronize the time at least based on the data received from the global navigation satellite system, a block for determining the time of fixation, made with the possibility to determine the moment in time at which the image of the fixed object was fixed, based on time data from the navigation unit, and the geo-positioning unit of the fixed object, made with the possibility to determine the location and direction of the fixed object at the time of fixation based on the image of the fixed object and data from the navigation unit.
EFFECT: improved positioning accuracy.
