FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and may be used to assess quality of grain of brewing barley genotypes. In the method the volume of grain batch is measured, and grain density parameter is calculated. And the lower the density of the grain, the higher the brewing properties of barley.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to simplify assessment of quality of brewing barley genotypes grain due to efficiency and reduction of labour inputs.
