FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to esophagus surgery, and can be applied in treatment of patients with injuries of lower third of esophagus, complicated with mediastenitis. Essence of method lies in performing laparotomy, diaphragmotomy, exposure of abdominal part of esophagus, ligation of esophageal tube below defect, closer to stomach. Suturing anterior wall of esophagus is performed without gripping mucosa. After that, both ends of thread are passed around esophageal tube and tightened with knot for complete elimination of esophagus lumen. Thread is used from Vicryl.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to simplify technical method of operation, achieve cure of patients in shorter terms, as well as to prevent reflux of gastric contents into mediastemum and restore esophagus lumen, eliminating repetition of surgical intervention.
