FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed method comprises displacing the ladle with its barrel to casting moulds and metal tapping. Metal tapping is effected through sliding shutter including stationary plate. Moving plate and slot zone for feeding gas mix in moving plate via tapping channel formed by ladle barrel and stationary plate opening. Prior first tapping, moving plate slot zone is aligned with tapping opening of stationary plate to lance tap channel by feeding oxygen gas mix at 3.0-15.0 atm therein through slot zone. In displacing steel teeming ladle to mould, tap channel is heated by feeding oxygen gas mix at 1.0-3.0 atm therein through slot zone.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
