FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: slide shutter comprises fixed (6) and movable (7) refractory plates with holes arranged respectively in mounting frame (1) and carriage (2) and pressed to each other by two spring units (8). Bucket nozzle (20) is connected to the fixed plate, and collecting bowl (21) is connected to the movable plate. Each spring unit is equipped with air cooling system and two support pressing rollers. System (23) for prevention of overgrown pouring channel includes four pneumatic vibrators (24–27), rigidly fixed vertically from below on carriage in pairs in opposite directions, at equal distance from axis of pouring channel of nozzle-collector, interconnected by their working cavities by means of pipeline (28) connected to system (23) of air cooling of spring units. Vertically directed vibration action is created on refractory elements at open and overlapped channel of bucket nozzle, for continuous mechanical destruction of deposits on walls of pouring channel.
EFFECT: longer operation of the bucket nozzle channel overgrowth prevention system and eliminating the need for an additional energy carrier while simplifying the operation and operation of the slide gate valve.
