SUBSTANCE: metal is processed with inert gas (argon) on its output from intermediate ladle. Inert gas is pumped through gas-permeable walls of metering nozzle throughout the entire length of the pouring channel. Blowing of inert gas as bubbles in the internal channel of the metering nozzle prevents the depositing of churly nonmetallic inclusions on the fireproof walls of the steel-smelting channel in the metering nozzle, and also in the plates of the sliding shutter, glass - collector and immersion container.

EFFECT: improving quality of metal.
