FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: turbocompressor for internal combustion engines includes housing with oil supply, discharge lines, cover plate of housing, shaft with impellers of compressor, turbine, radial and axial sliding bearings and pad plate. Axial sliding bearing is made in the form of two bases, on working surfaces of which oil supply slots and wedge-like grooves are made, which can be adjacent to pad plate. A groove is made on the base on the side of the housing cover plate and forms together with cover plate a cylindrical chamber that is connected to oil supply slots and oil supply line.
EFFECT: improvement of axial sliding bearing operation.
