FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: emergency single-acting thermal valve includes a cylinder-shaped housing. Inlet and outlet openings are made on the housing ends. The first and the second spring-loaded stocks, which are axially installed, are located in cylinder-shaped housing. A gate valve with pressure gasket for tight covering of inlet opening is fixed on the end of the second stock. Fastener connects the adjacent ends of the first and the second stocks to each other. A fuse is located in a perforated sleeve that is mounted on the wall of inlet opening of cylinder-shaped housing. A piston is installed on free end of the first stock so that it can enter the perforated sleeve. Fastener consists of a cone installed on the end of the first stock with a split spring ring located on the above cone, a thrust bushing and a shell. The latter is fixed on the second stock. Ring is installed so that it slides off the cone inside the shell during movement of the first stock to provide the movement of stocks in one direction.
EFFECT: improving operating safety of the equipment of nuclear power plants owing to improving the reliable operation of the proposed thermal valve.
