FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: skin, subcutaneous fat, superficial fascia within a lower one-third of shoulder and un upper one-third of forearm in a projection of ulnar nerve are incised. The nerve and collateral ulnar artery are separated in the lower one-third of shoulder and the upper one-third of forearm. A fibrous plate is dissected. The nerve is separated from cubital canal. It is followed by conducting neurolysis. The nerve is separated from the collateral brachial artery. A portion of medial epicondyle of humerus is cut off within an attachment point of ulnar flexor of fingers and superficial digital flexor. These muscles are deflected downwards and to the ulnar side. The ulnar nerve is moved onto a layer of deep flexor muscle of fingers within a bed of brachial artery and median nerve. The separated portion of medial epicondyle with the attached muscles is laid back in place and fixed. The wound is closed completely in layers.
EFFECT: method eliminates dissection of ulnar flexor of fingers and superficial digital flexor when conducting the surgery that ensures avoiding their load-induced ruptures and reduced length of postoperative rehabilitation.
