FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device includes a hammer to bump against a head piece, a piston, a crank gear the eccentric pin of which is connected to the piston, and vibration damping device. Hammer and piston are located in the housing. A lubricant receiving opening covered with a cover plate is made in the housing. Vibration damping device is mounted on the cover plate. Cover plate attachment brings into action the vibration damping device moving synchronously with the crank gear. At least some part of the vibration damping device can be placed inside the housing and removed from it through the receiving opening by attaching the cover plate to and removing the cover plate from the receiving opening.
EFFECT: simplifying the erection of vibration damping device in impact tool.
