FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of flow measurement and can be used for detection of used gas volume. The invention concept is as follows: the device comprises several measurement chambers, a distributing valve (2) and a distribution cover (1). The distribution cover (1) has several holes, every of which is joined with one measurement chamber. The valve (2) is installed as capable of rotation relative to the axis of rotation on the upper surface of the distribution cover (1). Besides, the valve (2) in process of the rotary motion relative to the axis of rotation makes it possible for gas to alternately enter measurement chambers and leave them. The distribution cover (1) comprises a sealing external crown (15a), arranged concentrically relative to the axis of rotation. On the upper flat edge of the sealing external crown (15a) there is an external contact surface (25) sliding for the distributing valve (2), creating a surface (28) of interaction by sliding between the sealing external crown (15a) and the external contact surface (25). The gas metre additionally comprises a protective skirt (30), tightly covering the entire perimetre of the external contact surface (25). The protective skirt (30) has a peripheral wall stretching in direction of the distribution cover (1) so that the specified surface of interaction by sliding (28) is closed.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of metre measurements.
