FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to testing equipment. Essence of the invention: striker consists of two shells inserted one into another and oriented in the direction of the tested object with bottoms. Striker is thrown with barrel-type ballistic installation; after that, inner shell is moved relative to outer shell under action of incoming air flow, and the tested object is loaded with the shell bottoms at the specified time interval. Striker is made in the form of a movable shell tightly covering the barrel channel. In addition, striker is equipped with inner shell, obturating cover from polymer material and a cuff. Inner shell is installed so that it can be moved in outer shell and its side surface and bottom touch the outer shell. Obturating cover is adjacent to external side surface of outer shell and diverges in the direction of its open end. Bottom of outer shell is equipped at least with two through holes, which are symmetrically located and offset from its centre. The cuff is installed on open end of inner shell.

EFFECT: possibility of simulating the impact loadings of objects, which are close to real conditions, with two pulses of compression during a short period of time.
