FIELD: testing technology; weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for testing shock wave pressure sensors comprises a barrel with a cartridge chamber and a receiver barrel with bolt, safety and firing mechanisms arranged inside. Inside the barrel there is a flame arrester, and on the muzzle face - a support element of interface with the tested sensor, made of a deformable elastic material and containing a longitudinal hole of variable cross section, as well as a set of perpendicular radial holes located above the support surface. Barrel box is equipped with two handles arranged symmetrically relative to longitudinal geometrical axis of the device with straps from resilient-elastic impact-extinguishing material. Flame arrester may be made in form of a set of thin metal plates located parallel to barrel bore axis, reference element of interface with tested sensor is made of heat-resistant porous material, for example, based on organosilicon rubber, and cover plates of handles are made of fine-pored rubber.
EFFECT: testing of shock wave pressure sensors located directly in conditions of their use on measuring beams of test site, and improvement of measurement accuracy with simultaneous reduction of danger of application.
